About Tatâga Inc.
Tatâga Inc. (tah-tong-gah) was founded to create economic pathways for Indigenous Peoples and Nations. The Herd’s mandate remains rooted in its original intention and continues to grow, now also prioritizing upholding Indigenous youth as future leaders, arts and music, and providing advocacy for adoptees and youth in care.
Through their core services in Community Engagement, Strategic Planning, and Social Advocacy, they aspire to live up to their firm’s commitment of contributing towards a more sustainable future for all of society.
Tatâga Inc. is wholly owned First Nations, Youth, Black, Management Consulting Firm who works with partners from all backgrounds and communities. Established in 2019 by Ali Tapaquon.

ARtist in residence
Joseph Tapaquon, a gifted nêhiyaw (Cree) artist is the nohcâwîs (uncle) of Ali Tapaquon and Artist in Residence at Tatâga Inc. Through Tatâga’s residency program, Joseph provides Indigenous art and graphic support for corporations and organizations who wish to add Indigenous digital branding to their reports, websites, and content.
Most recently, Joseph provided art for Deloitte’s Renewed Reconciliation Action Plan.

Intersectionality & Relationality
At Tatâga Inc., we leverage the United Nations’ approach to defining of Indigenous Peoples, recognizing the importance of historical continuity and cultural distinction. In Canada, we primarily serve First Nation, Métis, Inuit, and Urban Indigenous communities.
By embracing this approach, we prioritize unity, collaboration, and respect across global communities. Understanding our own limitations, we actively partner with experts and practitioners with lived experiences and guidance, who bring valuable insights and experiences to each project, ensuring our work is both inclusive and impactful.
